Win a copy of The Corset: A Cultural History by Valerie Steele
An essential book in any corset enthusiast’s library, The Corset: A Cultural History is brimming with historic and physiological research, along with a plethora of captivating full-color images. I will be giving away a new copy of the book to show my appreciation for your help in developing the Strait-Laced Dame Corset Comparison Gallery. This collaborative project can only be brought to fruition with the help of the corset community.
How to win: Submit your front/side/back corset photographs to email@example.com, along with the corset maker/model, size, and worn measurement. More details on submissions can be found on the SLD Corset Comparison page. The winner will be chosen by random drawing of the entries.
Contest Deadline: All submissions made prior to March 31st, 2014 will be entered into the drawing for this noteworthy book, including free shipping.
Number of Entries: For each individual corset submitted to the gallery (along with the requested information), you will earn one entry. There is no limit to entries one can earn. If a specific corset maker/model has already been submitted by another person, you will still receive an entry for submitting the same.
Bonus Entry: One additional entry will be given for reblogging this post to share the contest with your followers! However, you must submit at least one corset photograph to be eligible for the bonus entry.
Anonymity: If you are concerned about the anonymity of sharing your front/size/back corset photos, know that you are able to share your pictures anonymously. While I will need to contact you if you are the winner, all requests for anonymous submissions will be respected. No details which you request to be left as “confidential” will be disclosed.
Questions? Address any questions or concerns to the SLD Tumblr Ask Box or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
